Good Organizational Leaders

The best organizational leaders either have the following qualities, or they are making sure that they are doing the following:

1.

They take accountability and never pass on blame.

2.

They have very strong communication and can share their vision and passion.

3.

They have the courage to stand up for what they believe and will make the tough decisions.

4.

They possess business savvy and know what it takes to run a business.

5.

They have very good industry knowledge.  Even if they are new to the business they quickly immerse themselves.

6.

They are trustworthy as individuals.

7.

They possess sales qualities.  They are selling their vision or strategy in order to get everyone working in the same direction.

8.

They are excellent motivators.  They are positive even in negative situations.

9.

They are effective at delegating.  They are not “work dumpers” but they know where they should spend their energy and when it makes sense to hand off a duty.

The faster all of us are able to adapt all these qualities, the more success we will all have.

Mike
