Strong Leaders Usually Possess the following...

The best executive leaders will often not only be engaging, but often display the following:

1.  Set a clear goal that is able to be articulated in a single sentence.

2.  Designing the team values and ethics that will establish a framework for the entire group. This allows all employees to feel that they are all starting at square one together and that they are all part of developing the culture of the group.

3.  Establish a positive environment for the group. Urgency needs to be expressed but a supportive and embracing culture allows for people to work without fear and it will also encourage employees to reach beyond their job descriptions.

4.  The elimination of negative thinking is mandatory. People desire to be around positivity and they thrive in positive environments.

5.  Empowering employees is also important. Allow workers to plan their work and to self-navigate to reach their mandates.

6.  Follow-up meetings to discuss progress as well as challenges as well as linking both back to the goal is the desired course of action. Continuing to link activities back to the goal may seem redundant but it is extremely effective.
