Leadership Qualities
It is said that the best leaders often possess the following attributes.
-Charismatic Delivery
-Intelligence
-Articulate Delivery
-A Positive attitude
All of these make sense but how does anyone become a leader if they only possess some or part of this list?
Based on what I witness from effective leadership within our clients, I believe that the key is to focus on the items that will best connect the people to their company.
This would be done by using one's intelligence and communication in a way that is most relevant to both the employee as well as the overall company objective.
Our rudimentary research in this area at Fortuity shows that when this is done, mandates are consistently delivered and completed in a more effective manner with a great deal of efficiency.
This requires a focus on the following:
1. Leading by example
2. Inspiring a shared vision
3. Truly challenging the way that a business or industry is operating
So if you are missing some of the attributes previously mentioned, try to focus on the three points above.
Even someone who is not a strong communicator and who does not speak often, can succeed in this area when they display a determined focus, a plan, and a place for all employees within the game plan.

Mike
